MARK TRABOLSI TAFELOV MEXICO CITY → COSTA RICA
DESIGN ENGINEER / CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIST

Curiosity
is my
starting point.

Hi, I’m Mark. I connect brands, experiences, and stories through design that considers people—and the world around them.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK HI, CALL ME MARK.
01 / MY STORY

Raised in
movement.
Drawn to detail.

I grew up in Mexico City, surrounded by noise, movement, and constant visual stimulation. That environment shaped how I observe: looking for patterns, noticing small details, and finding connections in complexity.

Before I called it design, I was drawing characters, watching films over and over, and trying to understand why certain stories stayed with me. Animation, science fiction, suspense, and the psychology behind characters became early creative influences.

My grandparents introduced me to the cosmos. Carl Sagan’s documentaries and the worlds of Star Wars opened up another kind of curiosity: how things work, what might be possible, and how an idea can make someone feel.

Today, that curiosity moves between design, technology, and visual storytelling. I’m interested in the whole experience—from the first impression to the smallest interaction.

The details matter.
So does the bigger picture.
02 / MY APPROACH

Different disciplines.
One connected practice.

01

Understand
the context.

Listen first. Research the people, the business, and the environment around a project. Define the problem before deciding what to make.

02

Find the story.
Build the system.

Translate research into a clear idea. Give that idea a visual language and a structure that can stay coherent across different formats and experiences.

03

Make it real.
Keep learning.

Move from concepts into working experiences. Prototype, build, observe, and refine—whether the result is a website, a physical interaction, a brand, or a film.

03 / WHAT GUIDES ME

The way I work
is part of the work.

01

Empathy.

Listen carefully, ask better questions, and understand the needs beneath the brief.

02

Adaptability.

Make room for change while keeping a clear direction. Build ideas that can evolve.

03

Craftsmanship.

Give each decision attention. Refine the details that make an experience feel considered.

04

Joy.

Stay curious and enjoy the process. That energy is what keeps me exploring.

04 / EXPERIENCE

to shared experiences.
